Privacy statement Hlprs

Hlprs (Chamber of Commerce 59635428) collects, processes and uses data from the users of the www.hlprs.nl platform in accordance with the agreements of the data protection regulations. Hlprs respects the privacy of all users of its website and ensures that the personal information you provide is always treated confidentially. We are happy to tell you how we do this, in this privacy statement.

1. Proposes and bias

1.1 When booking

Most information we retreive from you, are details you fill in when you are placing a booking. Think of first and last name, address, contact details, desired payment method, information about the booking, time of registration. This information is processed by us in context of the performance of the chosen service and for entering an agreement between client and service provider. This can be for invoicing, cancelling, complaints, etc. The name and address details are visible for the service provider you chose.
Hlprs also uses personal details for informing you about our offers and services. For this, you must give persmission beforehand , when making a booking. You can unsubscribe from these emails at any time via the unsubscribe button at the bottom of the email.

1.2 When signing up as a service provider

Via www.hlprs.nl you can sign up as a service provider. Your registration is automatically accepted on condition that you are 16 and older (for babysitter jobs) or 18 and older (for cleaning jobs and tob e able to work as a gardener and handyman). After registration, you will be presented with a questionnaire; when this questionnaire is not completeley filled in, your registration will be deleted. No correspondence can be entered into about this.
When you are registered as a service provider on www.hlprs.nl, clients that want to make a booking can see your name plus other information you filled in and any photo that you have added. This is visible for the clients so that they can choose a service provider that fits their needs. Once a booking is confirmed, the client also has access to your contact details, so they are always able to contact you.
Hlprs also uses your personal details for sending the newsletter. For this, you must give permission beforehand, during registration. You can unsubscribe from these emails at any time via the unsubscribe button at the bottom of the email.

1.3 When reacting on blogs

The blog is updated weekly on www.blog.hlprs.com with subjects about cleaning, odd jobs, gardening and babysitting. Below these blogs, you can place a comment. We advise using a pseudonym if you do not wish for your name to be public. As long as your reaction stays, your name is also visible under the blog. You can object at any time to the publication of your comment with your name. In this case, we must remove your comment from our website.

1.4 When contacting us

You can contact the customer service team of Hlprs via various channels, such as email and live chat. These details are used tob e able to process your demands or answer your questions. These messages are not stored any longer than necessary.

1.5 Cookies

Hlprs uses cookies in order to improve the platform. When visiting the website www.hlprs.nl, we can use cookies to retreive anonymous information. These cookies never contain personal details such as your name or email address.
On the website of Hlprs, general visitor data is tracked, including the IP-address of your computer, the time of visitation and information that your browser is sending. This information is used for analysing visit- and click behaviour on the website. For this, various applications are used, including Google Analytics and Hotjar. Hlprs is using this information to improve the functionalities of the website. This data is made anonymous as much as possible and is not provided to third parties.

2. Retention period

Your data is stored for as long as this is necessary to achieve the processing purpose or to fulfill our contractual or legal obligations.

The Hlprs platform uses a reliable SSL Certificate, so that your personal data does not fall into the wrong hands. 4. Transfer to third parties

5. Rights of users

You can always request to view, correct or delete your data. You can send a request for inspection, correction or removal to help@hlprs.nl. Data can only be (completely) deleted if it is no longer relevant or should no longer be kept out of necessity. Your data will be saved as long as you are registered and active.
In accordance with the AVG, you can object to the processing of your data at any time. If you believe that the processing of your personal data is contrary to the AVG, you can submit a complaint to the personal data authority.
